दि. २३ ऑक्टोबर २०१९ रोजी महाराष्ट्र विधानसभेच्या निवडणुकीचे लागले. प्रसारमाध्यमांनी ज्या प्रकारे सत्ताधाऱ्यांच्या बाजूने वातावरण निर्मिती केली होती त्या प्रमाणे एकतर्फी नाही पण भाजप -शिवसेना आरामात सत्ता स्थापन करू शकेल इतके संख्याबळ जनतेच्या युतीच्या पारड्यात टाकले. आपण जिंकलो आहोत याची जाणीव असूनही भाजपच्या गोटात कमालीची शांतता आणि अस्वस्थता आहे तर विरोधकांना आपल्याला पाच वर्षे विरोधात बसावे लागणार याची पक्की जाणीव असूनही विरोधकात विशेषतः राष्ट्रवादीच्या नेत्या आणि कार्यकर्त्यांत कमालीचा उत्साह दिसून येत आहेत. प्रभाव सन्मानजनक असेल तर त्याचाही सोहळा साजरा करता येतो आणि अपेक्षित यश मिळाले नाही म्हणून बाजी मारूनही दुखवटा लागतो याचे थेट प्रसारण महाराष्ट्रातील जनता अनुभवत आहे आणि त्याच्या केंद्रस्थानी आहेत ते म्हणजे जुने जाणते आणि कसलेले राजकारणी शरद पवार. वंचित बहुजन आघाडीचे उमेदवार उभे नसते तर आणखी किमान २३ उमेदवार आघाडीचे निवडून येऊ शकले असते असा प्राथमिक निष्कर्ष निकालाची प्राथमिक आकडेवारी पाहून निघतात. तरीही
