Moumita Alam 4/1/21 (In protest against the Bulli Deals) _(About the Poem : This poem is in protest against the heinous attempt of some right wing elements in India. They have made an app named Bulli Bai where they have put a list of names of muslim women for auction. In July last year this right wing element made a similar app named Sulli Deals. In recent years Muslim women in India are being targeted for their religious identity and for speaking up against the agendas of the fascist government)_

The Long Fight to Be Heard: How Julie K. Brown forced the world to see the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein? - By Dr. Rahul Kharat

The Long Fight to Be Heard: How Julie K. Brown forced the world to see the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein: Article by Dr. Rahul Kharat When journalism works at its best it does two things: it finds those who have been silenced and gives their stories a voice, and it forces institutions to answer for what they let happen. That is the story of one reporter’s stubborn, painstaking work — reporting that peeled back decades of secrecy, challenged powerful people, and changed the course of a legal narrative that had protected a wealthy predator. The outlet that published much of that work was the  Miami Herald , but the engine behind the investigation was the single-minded determination of a reporter who refused to let the story die. Julie K. Brown spent more than a year tracking down survivors, court documents and hidden agreements. She located and spoke with scores of women who had never told their stories publicly — over 60,...
